Bolognese Lasagna and Gelato

Bolognese lasagna isn’t what you find outside Emilia: it’s green, fragrant with spinach, thin layers of handmade pasta with ragù and freshly made béchamel. It takes patience, but it’s worth every minute.
And then, as if that weren’t enough, we make artisan gelato. The real thing, with the right bases and no shortcuts. At the end of the class you’ll have floury hands, a messy apron and a smile that lasts all day.

This was the best lasagna I have ever eaten in my life! I tried several Italian dishes at a few restaurants in Bologna, but none impressed me as much as the one we made in this class. Roberta led the class in such a warm and friendly way – she was kind, helpful and you could really feel her passion for cooking. The whole experience was engaging and clearly explained from start to finish. If Roberta opened her own restaurant, I would definitely be one of her regulars. I highly recommend this class to anyone who loves Italian food and wants to learn something truly special!
I had a great time at the lasagna and gelato cooking class at Roberta’s home. She explained every step well, gave us the chance to practice some stages (like kneading the pasta) and was a thoughtful, attentive host. I highly recommend taking any cooking class with Roberta. Thank you so much, Roberta!
The lasagna class with Roberta was wonderful. She is an exceptional cook and took plenty of time to explain all the details needed to make an extraordinary lasagna. She also got on really well with our 13-year-old daughter, who had a lot of fun! Warmly recommended.
Roberta was incredible. We learned to make Bolognese-style lasagna and enjoyed some wine and then gelato. Roberta even made me a to-die-for mortadella mousse. 5 stars and I highly recommend her!
Roberta’s cooking class was the absolute highlight of my stay in Bologna! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and at ease. Her warmth and hospitality created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We made Bolognese lasagna and tagliatelle al ragù from scratch, and she also offered us mortadella mousse, a variety of antipasti, homemade gelato and the most delicious chocolate cake. It was truly the best food I ate in Bologna. Her home is beautiful and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like cooking and sharing a meal with friends. I highly recommend booking a class or a dinner with Roberta: you won’t regret it. The next time I’m in Bologna, I’ll definitely book with her again!
The Bolognese lasagna cooking class with Roberta was wonderful. Her English is very good - we had no trouble communicating, and her kitchen is a pleasure to work in. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend taking a class with her.
