Portrait of Roberta Guercini in her kitchen
About me Roberta’s kitchen

is a family
story

I learned to make pasta from Nonna Tittina, surrounded by the smell of ragù and the sound of the rolling pin on the wooden board. Having grown up in the hills of Bologna, I turned this passion into a labor of love.

Today I welcome food lovers and travelers into my home to share the magic of Emilian cooking. Every experience is different, every group brings its own energy. Handmade pasta always brings people together.

“In Bologna you eat well, but in my kitchen you eat with your heart.”

— Roberta Guercini
My story

From Tuscany
with love

Born in Florence and moved to Bologna as a young girl, I learned to cook before I learned to read. Cooking isn’t something you study — you breathe it, you feel it, you pass it on.

After years of cooking for family and friends, I decided to open my kitchen to the world. For several years now I’ve been hosting visitors from Italy and all over the world who want to learn the art of real Bolognese pasta.

I speak Italian and English, and with a little enthusiasm I manage to make myself understood even by guests from far away. After all, cooking is a universal language.
